It's so much fun.. I hope everyone that has a Xbox and enjoys kart style racing picks it up -- so I can shunt you all off the edge of something.

Red Dead Redemption League of Legends
I strongly recommend Red Dead Redemption... Its giving Mass Effect 2 some serious competition for Game of the Year so far.
yo dusty, i didn't know you played league of legends! I play all the time, whats your handle? I'm RippyRC.

wow at Sin & Punishment 2 on the Wii Are you playing the PAL release? or is the NTSC out now? PAL game is so good i finally turned in some wii ware points that i had for 3 years for the original. Then i bought Ikaruga for the 360 arcade finally because it's been on my todo list since it was released on the dreamcast. Treasure is the best... Dynamite Headdy even that mcdonald game... pure acid enjoyment

My girlfriend, a "gamer" in a female sense only (call me a sexist if you want, but damn it, it's different between genders), refuses to let me crack the Wii.
I try explaining that it's only software, that thousands of people have done it, that it's perfectly safe... Nope, it's her Wii too, and she doesn't want to risk breaking it. Shit-nozzle.
On the plus side, a few months back I got a work laptop that's stronger than most desktops, and have been hooking that up to the big-screen with a trackball and an extra keyboard plugged into it to allow easy couch-access.
This makes me sooooo happy!
Fallout 3 has taken a big chunk of my time, even replaying it when I can't sleep. Another girlfriend-note: I recently got her playing Fallout 3 after she successfully completed, as far as we can tell, every quest in Oblivion, including DLCs, plus some of the mods.
I will admit to never being prouder of my gaming girl as I was when I walked into the living room and saw her using the WASD keys to run up to a super mutant and bust it's head open with a lead pipe.
Honestly, I've been playing every game I didn't have the system for when it came out. GTA4 was the first game, even though I'd already beaten it for the PS3 before mine died. Mass Effect 2 is insanely awesome, I found Borderlands quite cool as well. Fallout, like I said, kicks arse. Oblivion was largely for the girl, but damned if I didn't replay that as well. The modern warfares, etcetera. I'm saddened that there isn't a "Red Dead" for the PC.
I so missed having a gaming PC.

Thanks for the warm welcome, U! I may even stick around if there are people to talk to about things other than football. I miss this place / you guys and gals.
Mnem, my dad taught me to play chess a long time ago and I have to say, I'd still play it today if it were rendered in vivid 3D, with lots of exciting things happening in the background, and looked awesome on a flat screen TV.
...
Actually, now I really want to make a computer game chess with lots of explosions and exposition-spewing bikini girls standing around the over-sized board and pieces, having deep and intellectually stimulating debates on culturally relevant topics... You have to admit, that would be an awesome fucking game, and a cinch to sell as an insta-download for $9.99.
Any developers feel like making it? I'll hop into a two-piece for motion capture while reading transcripts from Fox news into a microphone. Knock out the hard part in a day and a 12-pack.
P.S. - Wendy, the one I sleep with for those it's a new name to, is now level 13 in Fallout 3. Does anyone else think your girlfriend playing games where she shoots zombies in the head with a combat shotgun is really sexy? Does that work for you guys too? I'm constantly impressed at how much more it makes me want to fuck her at any given moment, but I am a walking penis anyway, so I'm not sure if it's just me.

War... That pleases me. Although I still think it would be improved upon if there were Michael Bay-style explosions in there somewhere.
